The Challenge -
Design a brand identity for a restaurant concept inspired by regional Mediterranean ingredients.
Goudi

Goudi is a restaurant concept inspired by the unique flavor of traditional, authentic olive oil. Each dish features fresh, regional and seasonal ingredients and reflects the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine.
The aesthetic criteria of the restaurant concept centered around creating a contemporary interpretation of a relaxed, Mediterranean village-style cafe. The environment and menu of small bites would compliment the casual style of gathering with friends to chat, people watch, and share small bites in the afternoon.
Primary Logo Design
Color Palette & Font
Similar to the flavor of the olive oil, the color palette balances earthy green tones with the brightness of white and a bite of golden yellow. Century Gothic's clean geometry lends to its modern vibe. I established a visual hierarchy by manipulating font size.
Logo and Marks
The classical Greek portrait of Helen reflects the restaurant's emphasis on the traditionally-made, Selegoudian olive oil. The logo interprets the rustic village-style signage into contemporary design through the use of clean, lines and a bright color palette.
